During the 7th Space War, the United Nations Earth introduced the Gundam type mobile suit to combat the Space Revolutionary Army. The three Gundam types utilized a Flash System, which allowed a Newtype pilot to remotely control many bit mobile suits. One such bit suit was the FT-9600-GB GT-Bit, which was built to be used in conjunction with the GT-9600 Gundam Leopard. The GT-Bit kept the same inner arm Gatling as the Gundam Leopard but lost the rest of the armaments. By the end of the 7th Space War, all the GT-Bits were presumed destroyed. Only one Gundam Leopard was known to have survived the war, and it later fell into the hands of Vulture pilot Roabea Loy.
