In February C.E. 71, the Earth Alliance deployed the FX-550 Sky Grasper as a support craft for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam to deliver its Striker packs in mid-battle. The Alliance also created a space use variant, the FXet-565 Cosmo Grasper, to support the GAT-01A1 Dagger. The Cosmo Grasper’s armaments differed somewhat from the Sky Grasper, including a pair of Gatling guns. The Cosmo Grasper was also capable of docking with Striker packs, including a redesigned Aile Striker that lacked beam sabers.
