The G-Fighter Bomber Type was a variation of the G-Fighter produced by the Earth Federation Forces. The G-Fighter was redesigned to serve as a pure fighter-bomber and removed the caterpillar treads and mobile suit docking function. In place of the mobile suit, that space instead was used to store fuel tanks and bombs. The vulcan guns were relocated, and the fixed beam cannons were replaced with a version that could be swapped out for other weapons, such as a pair of 2-tube missile launchers.
