The GG Gas Infusion Vessel was a specialized spacecraft created by the Principality of Zeon as part of its top secret Operation British that unfolded during the early stages of the One Year War in January UC 0079. The plan was to drop Island Iffish, the capital colony of the pro-Earth Federation Side 2, onto the EFF military headquarters in Jaburo. After seizing control of Island Iffish, the Zeon forces deployed the gas infusion vessels to transport and pump deadly GG gas to kill the colony’s inhabitants. Originally developed to transport oxygen and other gases/liquids used in colony construction, the vessels were repurposed for military use. The crews working on the vessel wore special normal suits to prevent accidental exposure to the GG gas.
