Technical and Historical Notes

Developed by Morgenroete, the GAT-X105+P202QX Strike Gundam IWSP (Integrated Weapons Striker Pack) combined elements from the Aile, Sword and Launcher Striker packs developed for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. A flight unit based on the Aile pack served as the base of the IWSP and mounted a pair of railguns to represent the artillery power of the Launcher pack. The IWSP also mounted a pair of anti-ship swords that were similar (but shorter) to their counterpart on the Sword pack. A combined shield featured a Gatling gun and a “Midas Messer” beam boomerang from the Sword pack. Although heavily armed, the IWSP was difficult to use.
