Rain hears a report from the Neo Japan colony that four unidentified objects are heading for Shinjuku. Looking at a security monitor, she spots Master Asia going into the abandoned subway. She decides to follow him all the way to Shinjuku Station. She calls out his name, but he hides from her and enters another room. A mysterious light appears, and Rain is hypnotically drawn to it. Master Asia has breakfast with Domon and asks where Rain is. Domon jokes that she’s probably still sleeping because she has low blood pressure. The Mayor tells Domon and Master Asia about the unidentified objects, and Master Asia worries about who it could be. The battle alarm sounds from a Death Army attack. Domon calls the Shining Gundam and joins Master Asia in attacking the Death Army suits. Master Asia sees that the horde of Death Army suits are being controlled by the Gundam Rose, so he tells Domon to attack George. George attacks Domon and unleashes his Roses Bits. Domon destroys them, and George declares he no longer cares about the Gundam Fight. George is impressed, and he wonders what else Domon can handle. Suddenly, the ground shakes, and the other three Gundams emerge.
Rain continues to follow the mysterious light and finds herself in a room lined with bio capsules. Some have corpses infested with DG cells, while others contain Chibodee’s girls, Nastasha, George’s butler Raymond Bishop, and Sai Saici’s monks. Rain frees them, and she shoots several corpses that attack her. Everyone tells her they were tricked by Master Asia. Domon is beaten by the four Fighters, and he appeals to them to stop. He asks George what happened to his chivalry; he asks Sai Saici about the Shaolin temple; he asks Argo about saving his comrades; and he asks Chibodee about his American dream. They all tell him that means nothing with the new power they have from Kyoji. Master Asia arrives and saves Domon. Rain comes out of the subway and tells Domon that Master Asia is a traitor. Master Asia knocks Domon down, and the outer shell of the Kowloon Gundam explodes, revealing the Master Gundam. Domon can’t believe that Master Asia is a servant of the Devil Gundam. He attacks with the Shining Finger, and Master Asia counters with the Darkness Finger. Master Asia is about to crush one of the Shining Gundam’s hands when he is attacked from above. The mobile suits, shaped like symbols from playing cards, are the Shuffle Alliance: Shuffle Joker, Shuffle Clubs, Shuffle Spade and Shuffle Diamond. They have come to kill Master Asia for his betrayal, but Domon begs Master Asia to leave. Master Asia agrees, and he tells Domon their relationship as master and apprentice is over. Domon is sure that there is some mistake, and the Black Joker notes that Master Asia broke off their relationship. Domon breaks down in tears and cries out Master Asia’s name.
Man, this episode was a real shocker. Who would have guessed that Master Asia was evil? Well, there are some clues. In the last two episodes, he keeps disappearing, and he reappears after the battle is over. Rain catches on to his act and discovers that he is a traitor and lured the other Gundam Fighters to Shinjuku. What I’m wondering is, why does he serve the Devil Gundam? Does he do it of his own free will, or is he infected with DG cells? Also, it was good to see that Domon’s Shining Finger is not an unbeatable move. Whatever is going on, Master Asia seems to be in control of the other four Gundam Fighters and is willing to use them. However, Domon now has the help of the Shuffle Alliance. Yeah, their suits are pretty damn ridiculous looking, but then again, so is almost every other suit in this series.
