Summary

Raymond uses his Butler Bensonmum mobile suit to retrieve Raizo’s capsule and take it back to the ship. Karato, Janet and Cath leave the bridge so that they can open the capsule. Domon and the rest of the Shuffle Alliance enter the Colony Devil Gundam to rescue Rain. Groups of silver balls surround them, and against George’s advice, Chibodee punches one of them. The balls then electrocute him and the others. Urube laughs and tells them that any effort to resist him is now useless. Since he has declared himself the dictator of the galaxy, he decides he will remake the Earth in his image. A massive tentacle arm sprouts out of the Colony Devil Gundam and heads for Earth. It spreads out over the surface and begins destroying cities to feed off of the Earth. Karato continues the procedure to release Raizo from cryogenic freeze. As the arm continues to feed on the Earth, Alenbie appears with her Nobell Gundam and attacks it. Kyral appears with his Mandala Gundam, followed by every other Gundam from the Gundam Fight. Kyral declares they have formed the World Gundam Federation to protect the Earth, and they attack the tentacle arm. Urube thinks that their effort is useless, and Domon says that outside the ring Gundam Fighters can be the best of friends. Neo Holland launches the Nether Gundam MK 2-40, Neo Egypt deploys its Sphinx Gundam, and Hans leads a Neo Denmark battleship filled with Mermaid Gundam prototypes. Domon uses his power and breaks the God Gundam free from the silver balls. Raizo wakes up and tells Domon that the only way to defeat the Colony Devil Gundam is to deactivate the colony’s power reactor. Raizo says that Domon has grown up, and Domon takes off. The Gundams continue to attack the tentacle arm and destroy it. Urube sees that he will have to fight, but he has been training his body. He takes off his shirt and summons his Grand Master Gundam.

Domon and the others fight off the silver balls and enter the Neo Japan colony. As the Gundams reach the industrial area, they enter an elevator to ride up to the colony’s reactor. Domon tells everyone that from this point on he will be fighting alone. Everyone says they are fighting with him because they want to, and that they will fight with him to the end. When they reach the top they find Urube waiting for them with the enormous Grand Master Gundam, which combines the power of the Four Heavenly Kings. Chibodee says the Four Heavenly Kings were all failures in the end, and he attacks Urube with his Gounetsu Machine Gun Punch. The attack has no effect, and Urube grabs the Gundam Maxter and begins to crush it. George attacks with his Roses Hurricane, and Urube impales the Gundam Rose with the Grand Master Gundam’s horns. The Bolt Gundam and Dragon Gundam are also attacked, and everyone tells Domon to defeat Urube. Domon uses the Sekiha Tenkyouken, but it has no effect. Urube attacks him with a fireball and holds him at bay. The Colony Devil Gundam suddenly sprouts wings, and Raizo wonders if Urube is trying to land it on Earth. Urube says he is, and he suddenly becomes covered in DG cells. Domon sees the image of Master Asia, Schwarz, Kyoji and Mikino telling him he has to defeat Urube. Domon activates his Hyper Mode, and the other four break free and start their Hyper Modes. All five of them perform the Bakunetsu Shuffle Alliance Ken and destroy Urube and the Grand Master Gundam. The Colony Devil Gundam suddenly stops, and everyone thinks they’ve won. It starts to move again, and Raizo sees they were too late. He says now the only way to defeat the Devil Gundam is to destroy the core Life Unit: Rain. Domon declares that he’ll never give up Rain to anyone, and he takes off on his own to find her.

Commentary

Well, the series is only one episode away from the conclusion, and it looks like it will be a good one. Domon and his friends have infiltrated the Colony Devil Gundam, but it seems they still have a lot of work to do. I had no idea Urube was so strong underneath his uniform. He really did become a madman this episode. I mean, they guy tried to destroy the Earth with the Devil Gundam. Of course, it was obvious he had to be infested with DG cells. We also finally get to see Raizo this episode, and Domon has a touching moment when he speaks to him. The spirits of dead people coming to Domon seems quite similar to something that happened to Kamille Bidan at the end of Zeta Gundam. Speaking of other Gundam series, the staff here threw in lots of cameos by other Gundams in the scenes with the World Gundam Federation. Look closely and you’ll see the RX-78-2 Gundam and the Wing Gundam. Now there’s only one episode left, so we’ll see if Domon can save Rain and destroy the Devil Gundam.
