The GH-001 Grimoire was a general purpose mobile suit manufactured by the Amerian Forces for use by its “Pirate Corps.” Although it was designed to disguise its origins, the Amerian Forces evaluated its performance with the Pirate Corps for potential future adoption by regular forces. The Grimoire featured a dome-shaped head with three eye sensors, and its spherical cockpit block doubled as an escape pod. Its armaments included a vulcan gun, a plasma knife, a wire hook that could produce electrical shocks and a submachine gun with a beam wire. In RC 1014, multiple Grimoires were assigned to the Pirate Corps ship Megafauna. A custom version was also produced for pilot Klim Nick.
