The GN-0000DVR/A Gundam 00 Diver Ace was a custom Gunpla built by the Diver Riku (aka Riku Mikami) of Force Build Divers. It was an upgrade of his earlier Gundam 00-inspired unit, the GN-0000DVR Gundam 00 Diver. The Gunpla featured improved mobility thanks to its new backpack, the Diver Ace Unit. The unit’s fins unfolded during flying and accelerating, functioning as GN Thrusters. The Diver Ace’s main weapon was a pair GN Diver Swords, which incorporated GN Condenser functions to improve energy efficiency. Other weapons included a pair of GN Beam Sabers and upgraded Super GN Sword IIs. Riku’s Force, the Build Divers, joined the Coalition of Volunteers in order to stop the Mass-Diver incidents that threatened to destroy GBN. After defeating the mastermind, Tsukasa Shiba, Riku met him in person and accepted a challenge in the older Gunpla Duel, where game damage was reflected on the Gunpla. Following a fierce battle against Tsukasa’s MBF-PNN Gundam Astray No-Name, Riku repaired and upgraded the heavily damaged Diver Ace into the GN-0000DVR/S Gundam 00 Sky.
