Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei spent four years on his own with the hastily repaired GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair, but in 2312 the suit returned to Celestial Being and into the hands of engineer Ian Vashti. He proceeded to repair and upgrade the suit into the GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II, which was kept aboard the Ptolemaios 2 as a reserve unit. The Exia Repair II implemented technological advancements made since the original’s debut five years earlier. These advancements included more thrusters for added mobility and internalized cords for GN particle distribution. The Exia Repair II was armed with a GN Sword Kai developed from new materials for increased strength and sharpness. A pair of GN Beam Sabers could be adjusted to function as either sabers or daggers. After the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser was heavily damaged in combat and had a GN Drive stolen by Innovade leader Ribbons Almark, Setsuna had its remaining drive installed in the Exia Repair II. The Exia Repair II was damaged while fighting Ribbons’ GN-000 0 Gundam and was later repaired and upgraded again to the GN-001REIII Gundam Exia Repair III.
