The GN-002/DG014 Gundam Dynames Torpedo was an anti-underwater equipment version of the GN-002 Gundam Dynames. The Dynames Torpedo was based on the concept that since humanoid-shaped mobile suits fared poorly in underwater combat, it was best to avoid it altogether by attacking enemy units from the surface. This was accomplished by adding a sensor system to detect underwater units, and the torpedo-firing Dynames Custom Gun Number 14 (DG014), which was connected to the forearm port to receive GN particles from the GN Drive. The red colored tube-like part on the bottom of the DG014 was a special GN particle condenser. By using the stored particles within, the gun was able to rapid fire the GN Torpedoes. The GN Torpedoes were thought to be able to use the GN particles supplied from the Gundam for propulsion purpose. When they hit the target, they would release high energy GN particles and destroy the target from inside out. The suit was also equipped with a sonar unit on its left shoulder, and a pair of goggles helped the suit adapt to changes in the coastal climate while also improving the field of vision in long-range combat. Lockon used the Torpedo equipment during an armed intervention and was secretly supported by Fereshte’s Gundam Meister, Fon Spaak.
