The GN-006GNHW/R Cherudim Gundam GNHW/R offered increased firepower over the base GN-006 Cherudim Gundam. The “R” in GNHW/R stood for rifle, and that was reflected through the addition of six GN Rifle Bits. The bits had similar attack power and shooting accuracy to the GN Sniper Rifle II. However, the presence of a crystal sensor on each bit gave them high search and data gathering abilities. The shooting capabilities of the bits increased drastically when used in conjunction with the Trans-Am System. In 2312, the GNHW/R was heavily damaged in battle against Ali al-Saachez’s GNW-20000 Arche Gundam, but Lockon was able to defeat him and avenge the loss of his family. The damaged Cherudim Gundam was later repaired and reconfigured as the GN-006/SA Cheridum Gundam SAGA. Years after the battle against the Innovators, Lockon upgraded to a newer suit, the GN-010 Gundam Zabanya.
