The GN-007 Arios Gundam served as the successor to Allelujah Haptism’s GN-003 Gundam Kyrios. The Arios Gundam’s design placed a high emphasis on speed and offered improved weapons and flight capability over the Gundam Kyrios. Because of the focus on speed, the Arios Gundam got the biggest mobility boost when using Trans-Am over its partner suits. The Arios Gundam’s head antennae featured the same GN particle control function found in the clavicle antennae of third generation Gundams. The GN Drive was located between the legs to allow sufficient supply of GN particles to the docked support suit GNR-101A GN Archer. When docked with the GN Archer, the Arios Gundam became the high mobility GN-007+GNR-101A Archer Arios.

The Arios Gundam’s main weapon was its GN Twin Beam Rifle, which had a high rate of fire and a movable upper barrel that could attack ground targets while in flight mode. It was also armed with a pair of GN Beam Sabers and arm-mounted GN Submachine Guns that were as powerful as the Gundam Kyrios’ GN Beam Submachine Gun. The Arios Gundam’s GN Beam Shield was built into its body and became the nose in flight mode. Like the Gundam Kyrios, the shield could function as a claw for pincer attacks. In AD 2312, Celestial Being conducted an armed intervention to rescue Allelujah, who had been held prisoner for four years after being captured in battle in 2308. Allelujah immediately utilized the power of his new Gundam during the prison break out. Near the end of the conflict with the Innovades, the suit was upgraded to the GN-007GNHW/M Arios Gundam GNHW/M.
