The GNMA-0001V2 Regnant 2 was an improved version of the earlier GNMA-0001V Regnant. The only difference between the two units was that the Regnant 2 used a new helmet with a redesigned sensor system that had a larger sensing area. The Innovades intended to put the Regnant into mass production, and the Regnant 2 was almost ready for rollout when they were defeated in 2312.
