The GNMA-04B11 Trilobite was an underwater mobile armor developed by Union Arsenal for the Earth Sphere Federation’s A-LAWS. Thanks to its Union design heritage, the Trilobite’s head used sensors from the Flag mobile suit series. Designed for two pilots, the cockpit included a residential block for long trips. The Trilobite’s rear section was a weapons container, and to reduce water resistance while cruising, the arm units were retracted while the container is in its contracted state. During combat, the arms were extended while the weapons container split apart. The Trilobite’s armaments were all physical due to the reduced underwater power of beam weapons. Its nose functioned as a linear spear for ramming attacks. The claw arms mounted 12 small GN torpedoes, but they could also be used for underwater work. The main body and weapons container housed multiple armaments, including the chain mine worm, a bomb that entangled enemy units or propellers, anti-vessel/land missiles, large GN torpedoes and chemical jelly bombs, which solidified on impact. The Trilobite made its combat debut in 2312 in a battle against the reconstituted Celestial Being in the Strait of Hormuz, but it was destroyed by the organization’s new Gundams.
