The GNW-20000 Arche Gundam was based on the GNW-002 Gundam Throne Zwei and could be seen as the final evolution of the Throne series. The Arche Gundam was designed with a Core Fighter similar to the Ga- series used by the Innovators/Innovades, but the Core Fighter was not equipped with a GN Drive Tau and instead was powered by stored GN particles. The Arche Gundam was armed with 10 GN Fangs, which were dramatically improved versions of the ones used by the Throne Zwei. While the Throne Zwei was limited to deploying six Fangs simultaneously, the Arche Gundam could deploy all 10. The GN Buster Sword II stored high density GN particles in the central compartment that were released when the sword was in use, similar to the Throne Zwei. The sword had characteristics of both a physical sword and beam sword, but it also could convert to a rifle mode that featured an internal beam gun. A pair of GN Beam Sabers were mounted in the suit’s legs. The red parts of the suit’s GN Shield could flip forward to create a GN Field that could be used both offensively and defensively.

The Arche Gundam was built by Ribbons Almark specifically for Ali al-Saachez, a mercenary who previously tangled with Celestial Being in 2307-08 and was seriously injured by Lockon Stratos (aka Neil Dylandy). Ribbons paid for Ali’s recovery and employed him as a personal agent in 2312 as Celestial Being reemerged on the world scene. Thanks to Ali’s combat senses, he was able to fight several Gundams simultaneously in battle. As the conflict with the Innovators reached its conclusion, Ali was finally killed in battle by Lyle Dylandy’s GN-006GNHW/R Cherudim Gundam GNHW/R. A variant, the GNW-20003 Arche Gundam Drei, was also designed, but there was no evidence that it was ever constructed.
