The GNZ-005 Garazzo was an Innovator/Innovade use mobile suit that was part of the GNZ series. Like the GNZ-003 Gadessa, the Garazzo was developed using Gundam data from Veda, making the machine’s performance comparable to the Gundams. The Garazzo also used the same Core Fighter as other GNZ suits. The Garazzo’s forehead black lines housed a search monoeye. Like the Gadessa, the Garazzo was later capable of using the Trans-Am System and had the same problem of the GN Drive Tau entering a halted state after Trans-Am. Thus, spare particles were present in the GN Condenser for the return trip to replace the GN Drive Tau. The suit received backup from Veda, and thus had higher performance than normal mobile suits. The Garazzo’s armaments included GN Vulcan Guns and two GN Beam Claws in the fingers that could also operate as 10 GN Beam Sabers. The Garazzo’s hands were 1.5 times bigger than the Gadessa’s as the fingers contained the generator for the beam saber/claw. A GN Shield was mounted on the Garazzo’s left arm. The Garazzo could not use its GN Field too often as the GN particle consumption was too high for the GN Drive Tau. Besides the fins on the arms serving as GN Cutters, the spikes all over the body could function as GN Spikes through the deployment of a thin layer of GN Field on their surface. A protective visor slid up during combat to protect the Garazzo’s eyes. The Garazzo was used by several Innovades in 2312 during the conflict with the reconstituted Celestial Being.
