Gundam 0079: The War for Earth is a video game released exclusively in Japan in 1996 on the Bandai Pippin and 1997 on the Sony PlayStation 1. It is an adaptation of the original 1979 TV series Mobile Suit Gundam. Developed by Presto Studios and published by Bandai Digital Entertainment, the game plays like an interactive movie that features live actors against computer generated backgrounds.
