On the Moon, Alus examines the status of the satellite cannon and looks at photos of Hiroto’s Earthree Gundam. In Cuadorn’s temple, Freddie successfully summons the Build Divers and all their Gunpla. Parviz takes a photo of Cuadorn’s damaged wing, and the Build Divers take off. Hiroto tells everyone that they have to evacuate the villagers to the ruins. The Build Divers meet with Muran, who is already supervising the evacuation of a village. Parviz and Freddie are amazed to see that Stola is alive, and Stola asks Freddie to help him out. Hiroto gets an incoming enemy alert, and several Eldora Army units smash through a wooden barricade but are caught in traps. Additional units speed past the traps, only to be destroyed by cannon fire from May’s Wodom Pod. Several units spread out across the terrain, but Hiroto tracks their progress with the Uraven Gundam’s sensor bits. Kazami’s Justice Knight uses its shot lancer to destroy two units, and Parviz destroys two more in the Valkylander. An Eldora Windam attacks Parviz from above, but Hiroto destroys it with his beam shoot rifle U7. Hiroto recalls the team discussing the battle plan, which called for him to provide rear guard support and direct everyone’s movements with his sensor bits. Alus tracks the battle from the Moon. Muran, Calico, Zabun and Maiya lead the villagers to the ruins as explosions go off nearby. Freddie and Stola search the evacuated village for stragglers and find an old woman crying over her son’s death during the Moon attack. She wants them to leave her behind to die, but Stola says she shouldn’t speak like that. Kazami destroys another Army unit with his shot lancer, and Hiroto’s three sensor bits are suddenly destroyed by sniper fire from the Alus Earthree Gundam. A Windam crashes into Kazami, and Alus then fires at Kazami, damaging his shield. The Build Divers hide behind rocks to avoid Alus’ sniper fire, and Hiroto deploys his wired leg sensors to attempt to find Alus. May wants to act as a decoy to locate Alus, but Hiroto reminds her that she barely survived last time with multiple shields. Alus sends a photo of the Earthree Gundam to Hiroto.
Alus explains that he followed the data and pulls up different images of Hiroto’s Gundams in combat. Hiroto tells Alus to stop, and Alus counters that he doesn’t understand why Hiroto didn’t take the shot against Riku during the 2nd Coalition of Volunteers battle, which could’ve turned the tide. Alus then declares that his version of the Earthree Gundam is perfect and will never fail. With the battle at a stalemate, Stola and Freddie try to evacuate the old woman. Hiroto and Alus pick them up on sensors, and Alus targets them with his beam rifle. Kazami jumps out into the open to retrieve his shield. Hiroto tells everyone not to move as he takes up a sniping position, and May and Parviz see he’s using everyone as bait. Hiroto fires at the same time as Alus, and the two shots hit each other as Kazami defends the civilians. Having spotted Alus’ location, Hiroto fires again and destroys Alus’ rifle, forcing him to fall back. Hiroto then performs a core change to the Earthree Gundam and gives chase to Alus. Kazami takes off with the civilians as more Windams and Army units appear and attack. Kazami attacks a Windam near the ruins where the villagers evacuated to, and a barrier appears at the ruins’ entrance to stop the Windam. Parviz blasts the Windam, and Freddie sees that the One-Eyes really can’t attack the ruins. Hiroto attacks Alus with his beam rifle and saber, but Alus destroys his rifle. Alus analyzes the situation and sees that Hiroto figured out his beam trajectory and attacked. Hiroto relentlessly attacks with his beam sabers, but Alus knocks one of them away and attacks. Hiroto takes a beam saber hit on his left arm and has the Jupiter Armor’s beam shoot rifle slam into the Alus Earthree Gundam’s head, which Hiroto then fires. The villagers apologize to Zabun for not believing him earlier, and he cries at having been able to protect people. The old woman thanks Stola and tells him she’ll live on for her son’s sake. Cuadorn watches the villagers and believes that their victory is tenuous. Freddie and the rest of the Build Divers find Hiroto sitting quietly next to his suit. They report the good news about the ruins, and Hiroto wonders if he was able to fulfill his promise. May asks him if he found what he was seeking, and he answers that he never thought he’d use the beam shoot rifle again since that day.
The Build Divers make their move to protect the villagers of Eldora, but Alus doesn’t make it easy thanks to a large-scale attack involving the One-Eyes and his Earthree Gundam copy. The fierce battle between Hiroto and Alus starts with sniping and ends in melee. We’ve seen flashes in the past that Hiroto was part of Avalon during the 2nd Coalition of Volunteers battle and that he hesitated in taking action, but now we see that the action was not sniping Riku when he had the chance. Alus sees that as a mistake, which drives Hiroto’s anger during the battle. Regarding the rest of the team, you can definitely see much more coordination here compared to the fumbles of their early days. While the Build Divers were successful here, it definitely feels like a fleeting victory since we know Alus will just reclassify the ruins as targets and destroy them. The question is if the Build Divers can defeat him before that.
