Hiroto and Hinata run into each other in the hallway early in the morning as they each depart for their respective major tasks. On Eldora, the Build Divers speak to Gorus and Muran before leaving for their mission. Kazami tells Maiya that he had many talents when he was a boy, but eventually he became average and thought he could be a hero in GBN. Acting cool got him nowhere, but Maiya tells him he’s pretty cool and has to come back alive. Muran tells the Build Divers that he doesn’t agree with their plan, but they’ve done so much for everyone that he has to believe in the path they’ve chosen. Stola asks Freddie if he’s going with the Build Divers, and Freddie responds that he has things he wants to tell Alus. At the Milaag temple, everyone is surprised to see Masaki and his Gundam Advanced Tertium spawn, but May thinks he’ll be great backup. Mizuki arrives at the temple for the bow ritual and confuses Hiroto’s parents for Hinata’s since they’re neighbors. On Eldora, Gorus and Muran lead a flotilla escorting four large cloaked objects toward the orbital elevator. Alus detects them and deploys Eldora Windams to attack. The Windams open fire on the cloaked objects, revealing them to be carved wooden fakes. Alus is then surprised to pick up the Jupitive Gundam, Ex Valkylander, Wodom Pod + and Aegis Knight already in space and approaching him. Earlier, the Build Divers gathered outside the temple as Hiroto explained the plan, which was to use the laser propulsion in his Nepteight Gundam to boost all of them into space on thrust alone. Kazami set up a livestream of the mission so that everyone in GBN could watch and help them. The Build Divers locked arms with the Nepteight Gundam, with Parviz riding on the Jupiter Armor. The Avalanche Rex Buster cannon fired a beam to power the Nepteight Gundam’s Voiture Lumiere, which propelled the Build Divers into the air. Masaki thanked Cuadorn for summoning him again and apologized for what he did under Alus’ control. Hiroto discovered that he was using more energy than expected, so Parviz activated Gundrans-Am to give them all the extra boost to escape Eldora’s gravity well. After reaching orbit, Hiroto ejected the Neptune parts and thanked Eve for helping them get as far as they did. He then performed a core change and docked with the Jupiter Armor.
Hiroto’s parents wonder where he went off to, and Mizuki shows them the GBN livestream on her phone. A One-Eyes army blocks the path to the satellite cannon, but the Build Divers aren’t worried because they faced worse in the Lotus Challenge. The Build Divers break past the first line of One-Eyes and come under attack from the Dubious Arche, Fake v and the new Reverse Turn X. On Earth, Mizuki emerges from the temple dressed in her outfit to perform the bow ritual. The Build Divers attempt to dodge the deluge of fire from fin funnels and fangs, and the Dubious Arche chases after Parviz. May decides to take on the Reverse Turn X so that Hiroto and Freddie can move forward. Hiroto heads toward the satellite cannon and is forced to dodge an incoming attack from a Psycho Daughtress. The massive mobile suit grabs onto the Jupitive Gundam, but it is then destroyed from incoming fire by the Advanced Tertium riding on Cuadorn. Masaki and Cuadorn then smash through an entire line of One-Eyes on their own. Parviz remembers the discussion he had with Shahryar, Ogre, Tigerwolf and Koichi about how to deal with Trans-Am. Koichi noted that the usual strategy was to wait until the Trans-Am ran out, but Tigerwolf added that the Dubious Arche seemingly lacked this restriction. Ogre said that it moved in a straight line and relied too much on its increased output, which Shahryar said made its movements predictable. Tigerwolf wondered if the Dubious Arche’s Trans-Am was unable to shut down, and Koichi speculated that running it for too long would overload the engine. Parviz activates Gundrans-Am and destroys the overloaded Dubious Arche. Kazami struggles to fight the Fake v and transforms to assault mode to grapple onto the Fake v and fire his energy cannon, which destroys the enemy. With the satellite cannon fully repaired, Alus begins charging energy to fire it. Mobile Doll May ejects from the Wodom Pod + and uses a remote control to have it attack and destroy the Reverse Turn X. Hinata takes aim at the target and recalls what Hiroto said about people’s wishes and feelings connecting together. The Build Divers regroup and head toward the satellite cannon together. Freddie calls Alus and notes that the New People are only able to live on Eldora now because Alus protected the planet. Freddie is sad that everyone is hurting each other without trying to understand, but he doesn’t know what they can do to resolve this problem. Freddie vows that the New People will protect Eldora and thanks Alus for what he’s done. Alus remembers thinking that he failed in his mission, but the Ancients told him Eldora could be rebuilt and that he needed to go into a long sleep. Hiroto tells Alus that he can’t take anything away from the people of Eldora, and the entire team performs a core change to combine their Gunpla into the massive Re:Rising Gundam. Hiroto vows that they’ll fulfill the wishes of the Ancients who created Alus, and the Re:Rising Gundam uses its hyper beam sabers to destroy another Psycho Daughtress. The Re:Rising Gundam uses the power of all four Gunpla to fire the Grand Gross Cannon just as the satellite cannon fires. The energy from the Grand Cross Cannon pushes back the opposing fire and destroys the satellite cannon. On Earth, Hinata fires her arrow and hits the bullseye on the target. A glitchy Alus floats amid the ruins of the satellite cannon, and Cuadorn tells him it’s time to go to sleep. Alus insists that his duty is to protect Eldora, and Masaki declares that the people of the Gunpla will stop him no matter how many times it takes. Alus concludes that because the people of the Gunpla keep interfering with him, he has to eliminate them directly. He then opens a portal to travel to GBN with a fleet of ships and mobile suits. Alus’ army appears in Avalon’s Force Nest, where a large gathering of Divers is already waiting to fight.
The final battle begins with the Build Divers heading to space thanks to Hiroto’s final planet-based armor. As expected, Masaki did show up to provide dramatically timed backup, except that everyone knew he was coming. The space battle plays out quite differently here than before, no doubt because everyone recognizes this time that the stakes are real. The practice from the Lotus Challenge definitely paid off, as the team is able to successfully fight Alus’ ace suits and defeat them. The Build Divers’ secret weapon, the culmination of Kazami’s crazy idea, was to combine all their Gunpla into the Re:Rising Gundam for a super-powered attack against Alus. The whole docking and attack sequence definitely gave me vibes of the SRX from Super Robot Wars. In keeping with the plan to not necessarily destroy Alus, Freddie attempts to make an emotional appeal, which I think would’ve worked on any biologically-based being. But as an artificial entity, Alus has a single-minded focus on his mission, and he can’t compute any information that runs contrary to that. Even in defeat, he decides to attack the problem from another angle by invading GBN to attack the people of the Gunpla. However, given how popular the Build Divers’ videos are, I expect most Divers would see Alus as some big boss to defeat and work even harder to take him down. The finale will likely show his decision to be a huge mistake.
