Gundam Base Tokyo unveils its new attraction, G-Quest, with a battle event featuring Yuuma Kousaka and Minato Sakai. Sakai tells Yuuma that the whole world is watching, so he’d better not perform shamefully. The battle begins in a canyon stage after Yuuma deploys his Gundam Lightning Black Warrior and Sakai his Gundam Dryon III. Their mission: break into a base protected by multiple Gunpla and destroy a new mobile suit before the 10-minute time limit runs out. They immediately come under attack from Weiss Barzams and easily dispatch them. Weiss Rick Doms then deploy from the base entrance and fire their bazookas. Sakai plans to charge in where they came from and separates his unit into the Riku, Sora and Umi Dryons. They speed through the tunnel and come under attack from Weiss Asshimars and Weiss Zaku IIIs. After destroying the attackers, Sakai re-combines his units into a Gundam, and both he and Yuuma perform a combination attack to blast open the door leading the boss unit. They enter the chamber and discover a secret Zeon mobile suit factory, and Yuuma wonders if the new suit is already complete. He looks over and spots the suit: the Weiss Sinanju. Sakai attacks with his sword and is repelled by the enemy. He attacks with his Black Liger Glare, which the Weiss Sinanju blocks with its shield. Yuuma tries to attack the suit’s joints, but it moves too quickly and attacks him at close-range. With only 30 seconds left, Yuuma and Sakai decide to join forces and take down the enemy with a combined attack. They attack with multiple weapons and knock the Sinanju back. However, they start to argue about who will dish out the final blow, resulting in time running out. After the battle, they argue and call each other idiots.
This second episode switches its focus to Yuuma and Sakai from Try, and it’s no coincidence that the episode is set at Gundam Base Tokyo and shows off the 1/1 Unicorn Gundam at the same time that the new statue debuts in real life. The two participate in a team battle emceed by a girl who looks exactly like Maureen Kitamura from the Blue Destiny games and manga. Yuuma and Sakai are on a mission to take down a new Zeon suit, but cooperation isn’t their strong suit, given how much they always bicker. However, they work surprisingly well together until it comes down to deciding who gets to be cool and land the final blow on the boss. So it’s fitting that their petty bickering led to them losing the battle, because that’s who they are.
