Mario, Julio and Serio Renato participate in a Gunpla Battle where they make use of 1/144 scale pilot figures customized to look like each of them. As part of the battle, their characters are conducting a stakeout in a forest to ambush a Celestial Being transport container. Mario takes off in his Striker GN-X, followed by Julio and Serio in their GN-XIVs. They pick up the storage container on sensors and wonder if it will lead them to the Celestial Being base. However, they suddenly come under fire from a Cherudim Gundam SAGA hiding within the container. The Cherudim Gundam drops grenades and snipes Serio in the process, blowing off his suit’s left arm. Mario and Julio open fire and destroy the Cherudim Gundam’s rifle. It then attempts to activate Trans-Am and is destroyed by Julio. Serio follows the transport container and sees it landing in a crater camouflaged as a lake. He’s then hit with a massive beam blast that his brothers see in the distance. They then come under fire from a massive PG 1/60 scale Gundam Exia and break off to rendezvous with Serio in the woods. Serio has lost both arms, and Mario is annoyed that their opponent is ruining the setting with a PG scale model. Mario rallies his brothers with a speech proclaiming that they came to fight a war and will never retreat. He tells Julio to give an arm to Serio so all three of them can attack the Gundam Exia with Trans-Am. They start their attack, and the Gundam Exia responds by also using Trans-Am. Mario uses the force from his Trans-Am to break into the Gundam Exia’s cockpit and blows up his Striker GN-X at close range to win the battle. Mario wonders who their opponent was, and all three brothers are surprised to see it was the Meijin. The three complain that they wanted a realistic war and demand that the Meijin apologize.
This episode switches its focus to the original series’ war fanboys, the Renato brothers. We’re introduced to a new brother, Serio, who is just as war-obsessed as his brothers. These guys are so into their vision of war that they crafted 1/144 scale pilot figures of themselves and are role playing being on a mission against Celestial Being. Everything goes according to plan at first, until their perfect war is ruined by the intrusion of the PG Gundam Exia. They do manage to win, only to discover that they were being trolled by the Meijin. Also, hey, maybe you want to buy a PG Gundam Exia, which was released just around the same time as this episode streamed. A complete coincidence, I’m sure.
