Gundam Build Fighters Try is a TV series that aired in Japan from 2014-2015. It is the sequel to Gundam Build Fighters, and in a franchise first, aired alongside Gundam Reconguista in G. Shinya Watada took over as director, although the rest of the main team returned from the first series. In this series, Gunpla Battle has evolved from individual combat to teams of three. Gunpla newbie Sekai Kamiki discovers Gunpla Battle through a kit built by Sei Iori and joins with Yuuma Kousaka and Fumina Hoshino to compete as the Try Fighters in the 13th Gunpla Battle Japanese U-19 Championship. One year after its conclusion, the series received the OVA sequel Gundam Build Fighters Try: Island Wars. Characters from both series also appear in the 2017 ONA shorts Gundam Build Fighters Battlogue. The TV series streamed internationally and is available on home video in North America from Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment.
