Sana opens fire and then dodges an attack from the Wing Gundam Sky Zero that is piloted by the Four AI. The suit dodges at high speed, and Sana sees that it’s much higher than the regular AI skill level. Sana comments that she feels unusual pressure coming from the enemy, and Kentaro boasts that Four is unbeatable as a Cyber Newtype with access to the Zero System. Touma is suddenly attacked by Mr. Bushido’s Red Frame Inversion, and Kentaro comments that it has reached the extreme limits of human movement. On the ground, Ryusei comes under fire from Yuu’s Gundam Ground Urban Combat Type, and Kentaro boasts that with the EXAM System, it’s a dark god of death. Misa engages in close combat against Zeheart’s Gouf Crimson Custom, and Kentaro explains that only Zeheart is suited to piloting that unit. Kadomatsu examines the code of the AIs and comments that Kentaro couldn’t have gotten such performance from merely hacking the AI pilots, so he wonders if Kentaro inserted deliberately activated bugs. Touma tells Sana and Ryusei that fighting individually puts them at a disadvantage, so they should coordinate their attacks. Sana and Touma fly toward each other and immediately dodge after shooting at each other, with their shots almost hitting the pursuing Four and Mr. Bushido. Touma sees an opening and uses his lance to slice off the Red Frame Inversion’s left arm. Four gives chase to Sana, who dives toward the ground and fires at Yuu, allowing Ryusei to escape. Yuu jumps onto the Wing Gundam Sky Zero in Neo Bird mode to give chase, and Touma tells Ryusei to prepare his trump card. Ryusei jumps out of the canyon he was in, and Misa tells them not to leave her out of their plan. Ryusei tells Misa there’s no time to explain, but she sees what he’s doing and backflips the Gouf Crimson Custom toward him as he fires the Gundam Helios‘ Sestet Cannon. The three pursuers suffer heavy damage and are immobilized, and Misa performs a Blazing Kick to finish off Zeheart. Outside, onlookers cheer the victory and wonder if this is an official surprise event. Enraged that his spotlight is being stolen again, Kentaro charges forward in the Gundam Barbataurus and attacks each of the four players. Misa tells Kentaro he’s being selfish, so he targets her with an attack from his tail, which is interrupted at the last second by Takuma and the Gundam 00 Command Qan[T].
As expected, the entirety of this episode focuses on fighting Kentaro’s sub-bosses to clear the board. The AI pilots initially perform quite well and seem to be on the level of real pilots, until everyone teams up for a coordinated attack. Kentaro complains some more about his spotlight being stolen, and he finally gets his wish at the end of the episode when Takuma shows up. There’s only one short episode left, but I think we all know how it’s going to turn out.
