Mobile Suit Gundam F91 is a theatrical film released in Japan in 1991. Debuting three years after Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, the movie reunited several staff members who worked on the original Mobile Suit Gundam, including director Yoshiyuki Tomino, character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and mechanical designer Kunio Okawara. The film’s score was composed by Satoshi Kadokura. Set in UC 0123, three decades of peace have followed after the events of Char’s Counterattack. However, conflict is ignited anew when the Crossbone Vanguard attacks space colonies to establish Cosmo Babylonia, a new government to be ruled by the members of the noble Ronah family. Civilian Seabook Arno and his friends are caught in the crossfire when their colony is attacked by the Vanguard. The movie was originally released on home video in North America by Bandai Entertainment, but it has since been re-released by Nozomi Entertainment.
