After War Gundam X Next Prologue is a one-shot manga released exclusively in Japan in 2018. Written and illustrated by Koichi Tokita, it was released with the Japanese Blu-ray box set of the 1996 TV series After War Gundam X. Set after the TV series, the manga focuses on Garrod Ran, who has retired as a mobile suit pilot after settling on Earth with Tiffa Adill. However, he’s forced to pilot his old Gundam X again when a new threat emerges against the fragile peace.
