The Argama disengages from La Vie en Rose and flies away. Judau, Elle, Chara, Shinta and Qum eavesdrop on Bright. When discovered, Judau tells Bright that Madchar wants him to come down to the mobile suit hangar. Down there, Madchar tells Bright about the plan to destroy Axis with the ship’s new hyper mega particle gun. Bright wonders if that is possible, but Madchar says it is with new weapons like the Mega Rider. Judau asks what that is, and Madchar shows him the Mega Rider, which is a motorcycle-like support system for mobile suits that is equipped with a mega particle cannon. Milly tells Judau she is sad about Leina and says that she might be affected when Axis is destroyed. Judau thinks about Axis blowing up with Leina trapped on it. He begins to strangle Milly and asks her what sort of sick joke that is. Everyone stops him by saying that Leina can be rescued before Axis is destroyed. Iino reminds Judau that they have three Gundams, and Madchar tells him to give it a shot and use the Gundam Team to rescue Leina. Nearby, Gottn hides in an abandoned colony with his prototype Ga-Zowmn mobile suit and several Gaza-Cs. The plan this time is to ambush the Argama and capture it to rescue Chara. On the Argama, Roux locates the abandoned colony, and Madchar suggests using it as a target to test the hyper mega particle gun. Bright agrees, and half the ship’s power is transferred to the new gun. Judau washes his hands, and Chara comes into the bathroom and rubs her breasts against his face. She tells him that if he takes her to Axis she will give him Leina, but he doesn’t believe her. As the power goes out, Chara strangles Judau with a rope and takes Shinta as a hostage. Bright cancels the test, and Chara steals the Core Top. As Elle gets into the Gundam Mk-II, Chara blasts a hole in the hull to escape with the Core Top.
Chara flies through the hole out into space. Judau launches in a Neo Core Fighter, followed by Iino and Shinta in the Core Base. Gottn sees the fighters flying around and orders his men to attack. Shinta tries to strangle Chara with his legs, and she fights him off. She flies around and shoots at the hyper mega particle gun as punishment for the way she was treated. Elle launches in the Mk II, followed by Roux in the Zeta Gundam. Gottn attacks them and then moves on to the Argama. Judau and Iino chase Chara, and Gottn shoots at her as an enemy. Judau tells Iino that the only way to stop Chara is to force her to dock with them. Judau docks with the Core Top, which takes the controls away from Chara. Gottn sees them trying to dock and tells his men to shoot and prevent them from docking. Iino fires missiles to hold them off so that he can separate his Neo Core Fighter from the Core Base. The Core Base docks with the other components to form the G-Fortress. Judau then transforms into the ZZ Gundam and attacks Gottn with his hyper beam saber. As Judau chases Gottn, a fake asteroid explodes and reveals a Qubeley Mk-II piloted by young Elpeo Ple. Bright thinks that it’s Haman’s Qubeley, and Madchar wants to shoot it with the hyper mega particle gun. Ple launches the Qubeley’s funnels and begins to attack the Gundam Team. The funnels prove to be very powerful weapons, and Judau asks Bright for support. Bright tells the Gundam Team to get out of the way and fires the hyper mega particle gun. Ple dodges, and the blast hits the colony and destroys it. The blast reminds Judau of a colony laser, and he thinks of Leina. He disengages the Neo Core Fighter from ZZ Gundam and heads for Axis to find Leina.
Yet another mostly pointless episode. A lot of the time here is wasted just chasing Chara around. Gottn launches yet another plan that fails, and I have to wonder when he’s just going to give up. Mashymre gave up after a while, and Gottn should too. The Argama gets to test its spiffy new hyper mega particle gun in this episode, and we also get to see the new Mega Rider. I guess the AEUG designed it as a replacement for Char’s Mega Bazooka Launcher and Katz’s G-Defenser, which were both destroyed in the Gryps War. About the only eventful thing is the appearance of Elpeo Ple and her Qubeley Mk II. Judau rashly decides to go to Axis with just his Neo Core Fighter, so we’ll have to see what sort of trouble he gets into.
