Fa, Bright and Judau drive to the Argama as the battle rages. Torres wants the ship to take off and orders the rest of the Gundam Team to go out and fight. Elle is about to launch in the ZZ Gundam, but Ple takes it out instead. Fa stops the jeep and says she wants to go back and check on Kamille, so Judau and Bright return to the ship on foot. Roux and Beecha fly over the city as they fight with the Bawoos. One of the Bawoos destroys Beecha’s Dodai Custom, and Arius moves in and slices off the Gundam Mk-II‘s left arm. Beecha crashes into a bridge and is unable to move. One of the Bawoos flies towards him, but Ple shoots it and disables it. Another Bawoo is destroyed, and Arius decides to return to the Sandra. Fa returns to the hospital and finds that Kamille is gone. Bright is angry about Ple and says she could become their enemy at any time. Ple comes up to the bridge with a new dress, and Iino asks Elle why she gave it to Ple since it was Leina’s dress. Judau says it’s fine and that Ple looks good in it. The mayor of Dublin and several EFF soldiers show up and demand that the Argama surrender. Fa tries to get on the ship, but the soldiers grab her. Judau shows up with a machine gun and tells them to let her go. They refuse, and Elle and Iino show up and start shooting. Fa escapes, and Judau shoots at the soldiers to make them run off. Fa explains to Bright that Kamille has vanished, and Astonaige asks if he can walk. Fa says that he can but doesn’t know what he is doing. Fa apologizes for leaving the ship and asks for Bright’s help. Judau volunteers to find him, and the Gundam Team launches. Judau wants to find Kamille because he has questions to ask him. Ple senses Glemy and steals the Gundam Mk-II to fight him.
Arius returns to the Sandra and tells Glemy that they should use the Psycho Gundam Mk-II to fight off the Argama‘s Newtypes. Glemy disagrees and says he can’t use something as valuable as the Psycho Gundam Mk-II like that. Ple approaches the Sandra in the one-armed Gundam Mk-II and slams the Dodai Custom into the bridge area. That doesn’t destroy the bridge, so she tries to shoot at it. Arius sneaks up on her from behind, and Kamille’s voice warns her to get out of the way. Ple dodges Arius’ attack and crashes into the water. Kamille tells her to take the enemy’s Base Jabber, so she jumps into the air and grabs onto a Bawoo’s Base Jabber. She asks what to do next, and Kamille says to use the Sandra as a shield. Ple does as he says, and one of the Bawoo pilots stupidly fires at her and hits the ship. Arius attacks and slams the Gundam Mk-II up against the Psycho Gundam. Bright tells Judau to attack the Sandra, and Kamille’s voice tells him that Ple is in danger. Kamille contacts the rest of the Gundam Team and tells them they must help Ple. Ple continues to fight, but her beam rifle runs out of energy. The Psycho Gundam Mk-II starts to move on its own, and Kamille tells her to get away quickly before its waves start to affect her. Arius beheads the Gundam Mk-II and causes it to crash into a beach. Judau and the rest show up and attack Arius. Arius doesn’t want Judau to dock and form ZZ Gundam, but Kamille tells Judau how to safely dock. After forming ZZ Gundam, Judau fires the high mega cannon to destroy one of the Bawoos and damage the Sandra. Judau runs to see if Ple has been injured, and she tells him she can find Kamille. Fa and the others show up, and they find Kamille sitting next to the ocean. Fa runs over to him and hugs him.
Well, this episode has something I’ve been waiting to see for a very long time: the return of Kamille. When last we saw him in episode 4, he was totally comatose. It looks like he’s recovered quite a bit since then, but you can see that he’s still affected by what Scirocco did to him at the end of Zeta Gundam. However, what did Scirocco’s attack actually do to Kamille? Though he’s been comatose, he exhibits some powerful Newtype abilities here. He’s able to reach out to both Newtypes and Oldtypes with his mind, much like Amuro did at the end of the original series. It makes you wonder if his powers developed during his recovery, or if they were always there but were activated by Scirocco’s attack. We also get to see the Psycho Gundam Mk II, and though Kamille wrecked it long ago it seems to be fully functional, to the point that it activates when Ple is near it. With such a powerful weapon in Glemy’s hands, you know he won’t hesitate to use it.
