The Endra II moves to provide rear line support for Chara’s fleet. Mashymre addresses the soldiers and tells them they will be attacking Axis to take it back from Glemy. On Axis, Glemy tells his soldiers that he will reward whoever brings him Haman’s head. Rakan doesn’t like the idea of his Doven Wolf being repainted and complains to Glemy. Elsewhere, Judau and Beecha retrieve what spare parts remain from La Vie en Rose. Judau finds the black box, and a crying Milly says she will give it to Bright. Mondo is scolded for making a joke, and he snaps at everyone saying that sadness won’t bring the dead back to life. He says that it is their duty to live on and storms off. He heads down to the mobile suit hangar and sits inside the Hyaku-Shiki to prepare for battle. On the bridge, everyone discusses what their strategy will be. Since Haman and Glemy are fighting, neither side will pay any attention to the Nahel Argama. A ship is spotted launching from Core 3, and Judau can feel Haman’s presence on it. He storms off, and Elle wonders what is wrong with him. Roux says that Judau wants to have a final showdown with Haman. Judau goes down to the mobile suit hangar, and Astonaige shows him the new beam coating he has placed on the ZZ Gundam. Chara’s ship deploys a large amount of dummy asteroids to cover its position. She then launches in her Geymalk, followed by the Gylens in their Gaz-L and Gaz-R and a large complement of mobile suits. Elsewhere, Ple Two launches in her Queen Mansa, followed by Rakan’s Doven Wolf squad. He rushes ahead of her, and she believes that sort of rashness will lead to mistakes. On the Endra II, Mashymre vows that he will be the one to take Glemy’s head and end the rebellion.
Mashymre gives a speech to the Dreissen pilots before launching in his Zaku III Custom, followed by Illia’s ReGelgu. Rakan avoids fire from Chara’s Geymalk and then attacks the Gylens. He attacks them with the Doven Wolf’s extendable hands and grapples them, but they manage to escape. Ple Two destroys several Gazas and feels pressure from Mashymre. He attacks her head on and destroys her funnels. He slices into the Queen Mansa with his beam saber, and she sees he is no ordinary pilot. Beecha has fake asteroids deployed to cover the Gundam Team’s launch. Beecha notices Elle hesitating and tells her to come back alive. Judau wonders if he will ever make it back to Shangri-La, and the voice of Leina tells him he will. Chara fights off several Doven Wolf suits and is attacked by Rakan again. He grabs onto her from behind and escapes when Judau approaches. Mashymre chases Ple Two towards Axis, and he is attacked by Rakan and three other Doven Wolfs. They use their extendable hands to grapple the Zaku III Custom’s arms and legs. They then shock Mashymre and shoot at him. Mashymre begins to glow with Newtype power and explodes in a brilliant white light. Judau, Ple Two, Chara and Haman feel Mashymre’s death, and Haman thinks to herself that she has one less pawn to control. Rakan and his men decide to retreat, and Chara and the Gylens pursue him towards Axis. Haman orders Chara to retreat, and he objects because the enemy is so close. She stops and Judau pauses when something emerges from Axis. Ple Two’s Queen Mansa leads a squad of Qubeley Mass Production Types piloted by clones of her.
The Neo Zeon conflict continues with more pilots squaring off against each other. Here, the Gundam Team is mainly on the sidelines. Mashymre makes his big exit here and shows how powerful of an artificial Newtype he is by exploding. It’s a shame it’s rather pointless because he doesn’t end up killing anybody. We also see how Haman thinks of him. After all his devotion to her, she only saw him as a pawn to control. Kind of tragic that he would so lovingly serve Haman when she couldn’t care less about him. Glemy shows his hand by unleashing Ple Two clones in mass produced Qubeleys. The question is how effective they can possibly be so late in the game.
