Developed in secret by the Orange gaming company, the Hargan III was deployed in battle during Orange’s rebellion against E=X. The Hargan III was easy to control because Orange utilized its control system in two popular combat simulator video games, Hard On and Hard On II. The company scouted out top players to become cyber plug-equipped pilots. The Hargan III was more heavily armed than the E=X Garland, featuring shoulder missiles, forearm grenade launchers, wire launchers and a beam gun. The Hargan III’s suicidal pilots managed to reach the E=X Tower, but most of them were wiped out by the mysterious, thousand-year-old Original Garland.
