The Gram Zan and Gataman Zan arrive at the planet Saurus Star. Aboard the Gataman Zan, Abadede informs Gije and Damido that Lady Harulu is sending reinforcements to assist them. To guard his honor, Gije wants to launch an attack on the Solo Ship before they arrive. Abadede allows him to head out with the Heavy Mobile Mecha Dogg Mack, with Damido assisting as well. The crew of the Solo Ship works on repairs on the Ideon. Cosmo tells Deck and Ashura, who are playing aboard the deck of the ship to stop bugging them. Sheryl realizes that Karala was wandering around the ship and has her brought back to the forest behind the bridge. She yells at the kids as well. Deck and Ashura decide to go exploring in the forest near the ship. Neither Lotta or Lin knows where they have gone. Deck and Ashura encounter a large dinosaur while wandering through the forest. In space, the Dogg Mack departs from the Gataman Zan with a fleet of Gil Baus and Dekka Baus following it. Damido thinks Abadede only is concerned with Gije. Lotta runs onto the bridge and tells everyone that Fard told her that Deck and Ashura wandered off in the woods to explore. Bes and Cosmo decide to launch the Sol-Amber, Sol-Vainer and Sol-Conver to find them, despite Sheryl’s objections that the ship will be left defenseless. The three units head through the woods. Kasha has trouble controlling the Sol-Amber. Deck and Ashura find two dinosaurs fighting each other and a baby dinosaur nearby. The baby’s mother is about to attack them when Cosmo on the Ideo-Delta arrives to save them. A stampeding group of dinosaurs arrive and run by although a few bump into the Ideo-Delta. Suddenly, the Dogg Mack stands up from behind a nearby rock. When Cosmo tries to escape, the Dogg Mack captures Deck and Ashura.
Gije announces to Cosmo that they have hostages and that he wants to have a duel with him to decide their battle once and for all. The Ideo-Delta, as well as the remainder of the Buff Clan crafts land. Cosmo heads outside as does Gije. Cosmo wants the Buff Clan to stop attacking the Solo Ship if he wins, but Gije says he won’t talk to a child. Cosmo attacks him with his knife but Gije easily dodges all his attacks. Both Cosmo and Gije claim to be the victims in their fighting. Gije tells Cosmo that they’ll pull back if Karala is handed over to them. Bes realizes what is going on and relays it back to the Solo Ship. Gije overtakes Cosmo. Cosmo tells him to kill him painlessly, but Gije says he’s willing to spare him due to his honor as a samurai. Bes arrives in the Sol-Vainer. Gije tosses Bes a laser sword and tells him he wants to duel. If Gije wins, he wants the Solo Ship, Ideon and Karala. If Bes wins, Gije says he’ll stop attacking them. Damido watches, thinking aliens don’t understand the honor of a samurai. Bes consents to the duel and starts fighting him. Gije realizes that since all the Giant God mecha are in the vicinity, now would be the perfect time to attack the Solo Ship. He leads the majority of the Buff Clan crafts towards the ship. Gije, who is distracted by this, is defeated by Bes. Gije claims he didn’t really lose since he was distracted. Gije’s servant Naburo on the Dogg Mack says he’ll kill the children if they don’t let Gije go. Bes lets Gije go and the children are released. Gije is upset since Damido has disgraced him. He decides to let Bes and the others return to their crafts before he begins attacking. The three Ideon units start fighting the Dogg Mack. The three Ideon units combine into the Ideon. Meanwhile Damido’s squadron reach the defenseless Solo Ship and start attacking. Sheryl’s upset that the Solo Ship was left defenseless just to save two children. The Ideon and Dogg Mack continue to fight. The Ideon overtakes the Dogg Mack after kicking it in the head. Gije gets out and starts running off. Kasha and Deck want to kill him But Cosmo and Bes say no. The Ideon returns to the Solo Ship where Damido realizes that Gije lost. The Ideon quickly fights off the rest of the Buff Clan troops. Cosmo and Bes tell Deck and Ashura not to do something like this again. Kasha yells at Bes for not killing Gije while they had the chance. Bes says it is due to a samurai’s honor.
The honor of a samurai plays heavily into this episode. Gije is overly concerned with his honor and makes one last ditch effort to defeat the Solo Ship and Ideon before reinforcements arrive. Unfortunately for him, Damido, who doesn’t have any honor at all causes him to lose. Its similar on the Earthling side too, with Bes and Cosmo refusing to let Kasha kill Gije when they have the chance. Although Kasha gets upset at them, the fact is that Gije spared Cosmo and let everyone return to their crafts later on, so he deserved to be spared.
