One of the four Elemental Lord Robots of La Guias, Jaifer was governed by the spirits of fire. Jaifer was able to manipulate fire and use it as a weapon. Like the other Elemental Lords, Jaifer had strong armor which most Earth weapons were useless against. It was also able to travel between Earth and La Guias on its own. Jaifer chose its own pilot, and its cockpit would only open for that person. Jaifer did not need repairs; however, it did need to return to La Guias to heal itself.
Jaifer was an ancient machine that has had many pilots. The first known pilot was Masaki, former pilot of Psybuster. After Ken Ando was chosen as the new pilot of Psybuster, Masaki was chosen by the spirits of fire. Masaki used Jaifer to combat the evil intentions of Shu Zoldark, an exile from La Guias planning his revenge. After one battle, Mizuki Kamijo was injured. While Masaki and Ken carried her away, a piece of a destroyed Granzon exploded. Masaki pushed Ken and Mizuki away, but he was killed when he was sucked into the micro black hole. Having lost its pilot, Jaifer returned to La Guias. Soon after, Mizuki was chosen by the spirits of fire at the behest of the spirit of Masaki (who was actually Mizuki’s long lost brother, Junichi). Mizuki used Jaifer for the rest of the conflict with Shu. As the wormhole between La Guias and Earth threatened to destroy the two planets, Jaifer and the other Elemental Lords combined their powers and used the Cy Flash, which killed Shu and saved both planets. Afterward, the Elemental Lords returned to La Guias.

I was just kid in middle school who liked mecha models. The impact this series had on me helped shaped the person I am today.
