The Komusai was a short-range atmospheric reentry capsule that was docked on the underside of a Musai class ship. The Komusai could carry two mobile suits and was lightly armed with a pair of vulcan guns. The Komusai was capable of conducting atmospheric flight and could dock midair with a Gaw. The Zeon also created an upgraded variant, the Komusai II. In UC 0080, Zeon remnants used a Komusai in a kamikaze attack on the Spartan, which was ultimately thwarted by Io Fleming’s RX-78AL Atlas Gundam.
