Technical and Historical Notes

The L-99 Doshka was a tank-like military labor produced by the USSR. Walking on four legs, the Doshka was armed with a 40mm machine gun and 76mm main cannon. When Gen. Ivan Ivanovitch Ivanovsky decided to defect from the Soviet Union, he arranged to smuggle a pair of Doshkas across the Sea of Japan to the harbor city of Sakata. Ivanovsky’s defection attracted the attention of spy agencies from several governments, along with the environmental terrorist group Home of the Sea. Ivanovsky’s defection and an attempted theft by terrorist Ichoku Inubashiri were foiled by the Tokyo police’s SV2 labor unit.
