Technical and Historical Notes

The Large Battleship was a warship used by the Varauta forces during the Protodeviln War of 2045-46. The battleship could accommodate up to 80 variable fighters and was heavily armed with beam guns of various calibers, multiple anti-ship reaction missile launchers and many standard missile launchers. The battleship could also function as the command ship for small and medium sized Varauta fleets. One Large Battleship was used by the Protodeviln Gigile, who led Varauta forces in the field during their frequent attacks on the Macross 7 colony fleet.
