The Turner spots the merchant ship Epsilon. A woman informs them of things for sale over the communication circuit. Daba immediately recognizes her as his half-sister, Quwasan Olibee. Daba wants to head over. Leccee is worried, thinking the ship might be connected to the Poseidal military. Daba heads over to the Epsilon on a Space Lista with everyone but Leccee. Amu is happy in anticipation of being able to shop. They are greeted when they reach the ship and see a man being punished for singing an anthem of Koam. They are led to a welcome area and take off their spacesuits. The door to another room opens and Daba sees a strange vision. Olibee is inside, but so are a pair of armed soldiers. The man who led them in, Rockley Ron, also pulls out a gun. Olibee says they are going to exterminate Daba since he’s of the Yaman Clan. Olibee gets angry at Daba, wondering why he knows her name. Daba sees a vision of Poseidal as she talks. Daba says she is his sister, but Olibee answers that she has no memory of a brother. Rockley wonders what is going on. One of the soldiers holding Kyao captive reveals to him that he’s from Koam, too. Leccee meanwhile wonders what’s going on on the Epsilon. They receive a distress signal from Daba, so Leccee sends a warning shot at the Epsilon, demanding that everyone be released. Daba pulls out a beam saber and demands they be let back to the Turner along with Olibee. He fights Rockley, but is beat up by him. While he’s being beaten, Daba notices a mole on Olibee’s neck. Rockley tells them they’ll be allowed to live, for now. He contacts Leccee and states the hostages will be killed if the Turner fires at them again. Leccee hears more bad news: Gavlet is approaching. Gavlet contacts Olibee and Rockley, who agree to give him Daba and the others in exchange for their cooperation. In their cell, Lilith manages to free Daba. Daba knows it’s Olibee since he saw the mole on her neck. Rockley and Olibee enter the cell and tell them that Gavlet has arrived, looking for them. Daba asks Olibee if she remembers escaping from Mizun and working on Koam, but Olibee says he has the wrong person. Daba and Kyao take them by surprise and run out of their cell with Olibee knocked out. Daba is sure it’s his sister. Olibee has a vision of her childhood, seeing Daba with no face. A vision of Poseidal appears and she passes out. The Epsilon starts shaking as Gavlet begins launching an attack on it.
The Turner comes in close to the Epsilon and Leccee heads out on the D.Sserd. Hashamoja heads out to attack the Turner on a Space Graia. Although he’s confident he’ll do good with Daba captive, Gavlet tells him to be careful and that he must prove himself in this battle. Hashamoja and Leccee fight. She has trouble as more heavy metals take off. On the Epsilon, Daba and the others are once again held at gunpoint. Rockley tells them they are going to be sent out to Gavlet in escape pods, and Olibee almost collapses. Some of the men start singing the Koam anthem, angering Rockley. One of his underlings tells him there’s nothing wrong with that, as even his home planet of Trydetol was once independent of Poseidal and had its own anthem. Rockley responds by shooting him and revealing that the ship exists for the sole purpose of spying for Poseidal. Some of the soldiers start rebelling, enabling Daba and the others to try and make their escape. Daba sees Rockley heading off with Olibee and tries to head after him, but Kyao says not to. In the other room Olibee gets nervous, saying Daba has the strength to organize those who rebel against Poseidal. Daba and the others head out on the Lista and make it back to the Turner, where Daba transfers to the L.Gaim. Daba immediately knocks away Hashamoja’s Space Graia, saving Leccee. Gavlet arrives at the battlefield in his Ashura Temple seconds later and severely damages the L.Gaim. Daba flees, leading Gavlet to the Epsilon. Gavlet fires at him again and ends up hitting the Epsilon. Rockley orders a retreat, even though Olibee disagrees with him. She is surprised to see the L.Gaim on the battlefield. The Epsilon starts its retreat. Daba forces his way past Gavlet towards the Epsilon, concerned about Olibee. Gavlet gets in his way again, and Daba tells Gavlet he hates him more than ever for getting in his way. Hashamoja tosses Gavlet a buster launcher weapon and then attacks the L.Gaim. Gavlet fires at the L.Gaim, hitting its shield and just narrowly missing the Turner. Daba and the others are able to retreat when Gavlet’s Ashura Temple malfunctions and is unable to move. On the Epsilon, Olibee wants to chase the Turner. Rockley thinks they should deal with the mutiny first and she says to execute those that rebelled. Suspicious over what happened, Rockley wants to return to Gastogal. On the Turner, Daba thinks about Olibee.
This episode introduces Daba’s half-sister Quwasan Olibee and Rockley Ron, one of Poseidal’s Elite 13. Olibee seems to be brainwashed by Poseidal, not being able to recognize Daba, and is having strange visions. The usually calm and mature Daba is getting a little reckless now that his sister is involved in the battle. Speaking of Olibee, I hope they give us some more explanation about her, as there never was any mention in the first 21 episodes of Daba having a sister. With the enemy getting stronger and stronger with its new weapons, he better be careful not to get too reckless. Luckily for our heroes, multiple soldiers on the Epsilon rebelled, enabling them to escape. Of course, if they were under Gavlet’s custody I wouldn’t be surprised to see them escape. Speaking of Gavlet, I wonder why Nei wasn’t with him after what happened in the last episode. It looked like Nei was going to be on the Slender Skala as well, but she didn’t show up at all.
