Giwaza greets Maph McTomin as he arrives at Metta and says Olibee has arranged for the entire military to gather, something he has already done. Anton is concerned about Nei, who he says is a hostage at Sveto, but Giwaza refuses to admit she’s there as a hostage. He makes a speech to his loyal soldiers. On the Turner, Amu yells at Kyao, trying to figure out why Lilith is mad at him. One of the crew explains it’s because Kyao says she doesn’t work enough to warrant eating. Amu tells him to apologize and heads over to see Lilith, who’s developed her own heavy metal on the computer. Daba locates Theart Star and calls everyone back to the bridge. Daba and Semuj want to get Full on their side both in order to gain the tremendous power she has, and to reduce their reliance on Amandara. Another party goes on at Theart Star, which Full ignores. She heads with her assistant to a part of the base that no one has been in in half a century. She gets there, where a number of Gayrahm heavy metals are revealed. Full boasts that with these and the Beaz no one will be as powerful as she. Suddenly, Daba’s voice comes through on the intercom, saying he wants her to ally with him. Full heads to the communication room and says no, and that Poseidal may be listening. Semuj says he’ll head over himself and see her. Amu wants to go too, saying it’d be best if a woman went. Daba wants her to stay behind but eventually gives in. Amu heads out with Semuj, who says he won’t be responsible for her safety. Meanwhile, a Slash rendezvous with the Krepaul. Olibee sits in her room and remembers the soldiers singing a song of Koam. Rockley comes and tells her a bat has come. He and Olibee head to the dock, where Gavlet and Hashamoja are. Olibee shoots at him since he’s one of Giwaza’s subordinates. Gavlet is amazed with Olibee’s beauty and says his ideals are with the military and not with any one person. He pledges his life to Olibee and impresses her, so she decides to give him the heavy metal A.Taul.
Gavlet starts heading out on the A.Taul. He is amazed with its power, saying the Auge and Bat-Shu are mere children compared to it. Olibee tells him that Rockley doesn’t trust him, and she orders Gavlet to stop a potential alliance between Full and the rebels. Gavlet heads out. On the Turner, Daba regrets letting Amu go and gets ready to head out. Hugo from the Whale tells him that they have located Palarta Star. Amu and Semuj also contact him and say they’ve located Theart Star, even though its lights are out. Daba wants to cancel the operation and send them back, but Semuj refuses. A number of Beazs leave Theart Star and surround Amu and Semuj’s Slash. Semuj runs to the deck to head out in the D.Sserd, but Amu doesn’t want him to go, thinking they still have a chance to contact Full. The Beazs continue to attack the ship. Full, meanwhile, is dressed by a few of her servants and says she will talk to Amu. Amu pleads with her to talk to Daba. With another Slash approaching, Full decides to pull back her forces so the military won’t know of her plans. Gavlet departs the Slash on his A.Taul and attacks Semuj in the D.Sserd. Hashamoja heads out on a Calvary Temple. A hole is torn in the Slash and Amu is pulled out. Luckily, she’s able to make her way back in and heads to the L.Gaim. She heads out and watches in horror as the entire ship is blown up by Hashamoja. Semuj is being electrocuted by Gavlet’s A.Taul and Amu rushes there to help. The D.Sserd is torn to shreds and Semuj is flung out of it, but Amu grabs onto him and continues to fight Gavlet. Daba arrives on the L.Gaim Mk-II and smashes his way through the A.Taul until Gavlet and Hashamoja decide to flee. Daba heads out on the Viewy and looks around for Amu and Semuj, not seeing them anywhere.
The pace continues to be pretty quick as more events keep occurring. Gavlet meets Olibee and immediately becomes infatuated with her, going as far as to pledge his life to her. In exchange, she gives him the mighty A.Taul, one of the most powerful heavy metals we’ve seen yet. It seems like Gavlet has betrayed Giwaza, telling Olibee he has no loyalty towards him even though Giwaza promoted him to one of the Elite 13. And what ever happened to him rescuing Nei in Sveto? The only thing I can think of is that he may have sent the Slender Skala there since it didn’t appear. Full clearly has her own ambitions of toppling everyone and shows off a group of the legendary Gayrahm heavy metals that the L.Gaim was based on. This episode introduces another one of the Elite 13, Maph McTomin. His very deep voice and bizarre hair style make him quite the odd character. Of course, bizarre hair is nothing new to this show with those we’ve already seen on Kyao, Full, Nei and many other characters.
