A Trast shuttle enters the atmosphere of Gastogal with Leccee on board. Leccee can’t help but feel nervous even though she volunteered for this mission. The Trast lands at Sveto. Leccee gives her payment to the captain and she puts the moves on him in order to get a pass. She sneaks through the grass into Sveto then heads through the sewers. Noticing a barrier, she’s forced to swim past it until she gets to the other side. She wonders if the data from Amandara is correct and climbs out of the sewers and finds a wooded area with a mansion. She climbs a tree then swings over to the house, heading through a window. She wanders through the halls and climbs through a vent after almost revealing herself by knocking over a piece of artwork. She notices a sensor in the duct and blasts it. She continues and reaches a rather large room. A white-haired woman enters the room accompanied by two maids. Leccee watches as the maids put makeup and a costume on the woman, revealing her to be Poseidal. Poseidal tells her maids to send for Nei, that she’s now ready to see her. Nei enters and bows before her. Poseidal apologizes for keeping her here so long and says it’s sad that Giwaza is betraying her after being so loyal. She said she couldn’t believe that Nei was working alone and did research causing her to come to the conclusion that Full has indeed betrayed her. Nei finds Leccee hiding behind a curtain and grabs onto her. Poseidal is pleased to have one of Kamon Myroad’s loved ones. Meanwhile on the Turner, Kyao argues with Amu and Daba about the Whale being loyal. Daba says they’ve been unable to contact Leccee lately and when they contact the Whale, they don’t say where she is. Daba says he’ll be sending Semuj to the Whale and that it will act as the rebel’s flagship. Daba reveals that he knows Leccee went to Sveto.
Leccee is dressed in fancy clothes and brought before Poseidal. Poseidal says she’s a man even though she clearly looks like a woman. Poseidal says it is too below her to get Giwaza herself and orders Nei to do it instead since Giwaza abandoned her. She decides to let Leccee go, considering her too petty to deal with. Nei has the opportunity to kill Poseidal with her gun, but decides not to and tells Leccee she’s happy for making that decision as they head back out to space. The Turner meanwhile fights Lily’s forces. Nei’s ship approaches the Sarge Opus Giwaza is on. Nei tells Giwaza that Poseidal was concerned with Full and that she managed to escape. Leccee manages to escape from Nei’s ship on a small escape capsule. Daba continues to battle Lily’s G.Roon and Leccee flies by in the escape capsule. Lily fires at Daba and it hits the escape capsule instead, knocking Leccee out. She grabs onto the L.Gaim Mk-II and contacts Daba, telling him she’s back. She tells him that Nei has gone to Giwaza’s ship and now is the best time to attack him. Amu shows up on the L.Gaim and attacks Lily, enabling the L.Gaim Mk-II to escape from her and head towards the Sarge Opus. Nei arrives on the Sarge Opus but Anton (with a number of soldiers by his side) won’t let her out. Nei sends her ship crashing through the walls and heads out that way. She is shocked her allies distrust her so much now. Daba blasts a hole in the ship, enabling Nei to escape from the soldiers pursuing her. She makes her way to the bridge and Giwaza says he can’t trust her after she’s been in Sveto so long. She takes Anton hostage and can’t believe Giwaza is throwing her away. She attacks Giwaza with her beam saber and cuts his arm off, but he shoots her in the chest. Seeing the L.Gaim Mk-II attacking, she thinks about that being the last thing she sees as she dies. The rebels depart and Daba asks Leccee to tell him what happened later. Thinking of what went on in Sveto, Leccee is no longer as trusting of men and tells Daba she’ll send him a report.
This episode features the first death of a major character death in the series as Nei is killed trying to assassinate Giwaza. That Nei would turn on Giwaza and follow Poseidal’s orders is surprising considering how close she is to him. I guess you could say he abandoned her on Gastogal, but then again he did order Gavlet to go get her and Gavlet never did anything about it. Probably the most interesting aspect of this episode is when Leccee sneaks into Poseidal’s mansion in Sveto. Not only do we get to see Poseidal in person (as opposed to a hologram) for the first time, we also get to see her without her bizarre costume on. It’s quite a surrealistic scene as she takes on the robotic appearance we’re used to. Of course, strangest of all is Poseidal claiming to be a man, especially now that we’ve seen what she really looks like.
