The Lightliner was a mobile suit support vehicle developed by the Earth Federation Forces during the One Year War. With a design resembling a scaled up version of a hang glider, the Lightliner allowed ground mobile suits to take to the air. The unit featured a one-person cockpit on the top of the main body. The Lightliner was unarmed and thus relied on the mobile suit carrying it for defense. Yuji Alkana used a Lightliner on several missions to give his RGM-79FP GM Striker flight capability.
