The LM111E02 Gun EZ was a mass production general purpose mobile suit fielded by the paramilitary League Militaire in UC 0153. The Gun EZ Prototype was secretly developed in the lunar city Saint Joseph as the League prepared itself to counter the growing power of the Zanscare Empire in Side 2. The prototype version lacked some of the armaments implemented into the Early Type units used by the Shrike team. The Gun EZ’s standard armaments included vulcan guns, a beam saber, a multi-launcher, a beam rifle and a beam shield. After regular production began, the Gun EZ became the backbone of the League Militaire’s mobile suit forces. The League Militaire also produced a ground combat version, the Gun EZ Ground Type. Following the introduction of the upgraded LM111E03 Gun Blastor, newly produced Gun EZ units were painted with its color scheme.
