
Macross 7 Encore is an OVA series released in Japan from 1995-1996. It consists of three unaired episodes from the Macross 7 TV series that were included in its home video release. The creative staff from the TV series returned for all of Encore‘s episodes, which are all set during the TV series. In 2022, Nozomi Entertainment announced a North American home video release for the OVA, but no further information has been released following Nozomi’s acquisition by Crunchyroll. As of 2025, the series is streaming in multiple countries on Disney +.
