In this clip show, Global records his report to U.N. Spacy on what has transpired since the beginning of the series. His report is set to clips of some of the major events from episodes 1-12. After recording his report, Global is brought some coffee by Misa. She watches the sunset and tells him she thought she’d never see such a sight again. Global feels the same and tells her he had a bad feeling when he took command of the ship. He felt that launching the Macross was a step humanity could never take back, and Misa thinks his premonition was correct. While I normally don’t care for clip shows (especially so early into a show’s run), this one is edited well and fits in to the overall storyline of the show by being handled as a report by Global.
