The MAM-07-X3 Grublo Prototype Underwater Bit Type was a mobile armor developed by the Principality of Zeon. It was based on the standard MAM-07 Grublo, which had its claw arms removed to accommodate a sonar dome and two wired/wireless underwater bits. Other armaments included a pair of anti-air missile launchers and two 7-tube torpedo launchers. The Grublo was also equipped with a quasi-psycommu system that allowed a non-Newtype pilot to control the bits. Tests were conducted for two weeks, but development did not continue and the unit was restored to a standard Grublo.
