The Mark Twain VII was a resort ship in the Macross 7 long-distance emigration fleet. It was named after the pen name of 19th century American writer Samuel Langhorne Clemens. Its exterior resembled a vintage 1800s steamboat from Earth. Compared to other civilian ships in the fleet, the Mark Twain VII did not dock with a U.N. Spacy ship as its defense escort.
