After receiving substantial damage in battle against Eleven Socius’ GAT-01D Long Dagger, Gai Murakumo’s MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame underwent an extensive refit. In addition to Lowe Guele’s Tactical Arms for the Blue Frame Second L, Gai designed several upgrades himself. These upgrades included a two layer armor system, in which the second layer was equipped with Phase Shift and activated in the event of the first layer’s breach. Gai also remodeled the feet and added shoulder-mounted fin thrusters, along with a complement of six “Armor Schneider” combat knives. It could also mount an optional sniper pack for specific missions.
