The MD-0021 Desultor was a mass production mobile suit manufactured by Jeturk Heavy Machinery. This general purpose machine was known for good performance and overall balance. The Desultor’s backpack was equipped with a 4-tube dispenser that could launch jamming pods. Its armaments included vulcan guns, an assault rifle, a shield, a heat knife, a bazooka and an optional 3-tube missile launcher. By A.S. 122, the outdated Desultor had been succeeded by a newer model, the MD-0031 Dilanza. Shaddiq Zenelli, heir apparent of Grassley Defense Systems, provided six Desultors to the anti-Spacian group Dawn of Fold to create suspicion that Jeturk was involved with an attack on Plant Quetta. These units were modified for stealth and used banned solid ammunition.
