Technical and Historical Notes

The AGE-IIMG Gundam AGEII Magnum was a custom Gunpla built by the Diver Kyoya Kujo (aka Kyoya Kisugi) of Force Avalon. It was based on the AGE-2 Gundam AGE-2 Normal from the 2011-12 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. The AGEII Magnum was a high spec unit that was customized to match the battle style of Kyoya, the reigning GBN Champion and leader of Avalon. New attack functions were added to the wings, and the Gunpla's transformation was redubbed Phoenix Mode. The AGE II Magnum's armaments included the hyper DODS rifle magnum, which featured more energy charging capacity, two beam sabers, the Shiguru shield (which featured a blade) and four remote F Funnels based on the C Funnels used by the AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX. The F Funnels could combine with the Shiguru shield to form the large "Excalibur" energy blade. While investigating the spread of Break Decals in GBN, Kyoya went undercover by disguising himself as a low level player and concealing the AGEII Magnum under armor resembling the AGE-2DH Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound. Kyoya later upgraded the Gunpla to the AGE-IIMG-SV AGE II Magnum (SV ver.).
