Technical and Historical Notes

The KUMA-P Beargguy P (Pretty) was a custom Gunpla built by Yuuma Kousaka for Mirai Kamiki. It was based on Mirai’s earlier Gunpla the KUMA-F Beargguy F (Family). Like the Beargguy F, the Beargguy P featured extendable arms, a flight unit and a monitor in its face that allowed it to change expressions. Despite being designed for use in photo shoots, the Beargguy P was combat ready and armed with a mouth beam cannon, beam cannons/sabers in its paws and a pretty cane. Like its predecessor, the Beargguy P featured a smaller Petit-Beargguy, but this version was controlled separately by another pilot. Mirai used the Beargguy P in combat when Gunpla went out of control at a Yajima Trading island facility. Mirai called upon her friend Satomi Funaki to control the Petit-Beargguy.
