Technical and Historical Notes

 

The UGY-R45 Garm Rodi was a general purpose mobile suit constructed on the Rodi Frame. Despite its heavy armor, the suit was well balanced thanks to the versatility of the Rodi Frame, which combined mobility and defensive performance. The Garm Rodi’s armaments included a rifle, a 300mm long rifle, a boost hammer, a buster sword, two hand grenades and a shoulder shield. In addition to the standard version, a commander version featured a blade antenna on its head and mounted shields on both shoulders. In the P.D. 320s, the space pirates known as the Dawn Horizon Corps were hired to attack the Admoss Company’s half-metal mine on Mars. This led to several battles with the private military company Tekkadan, which ultimately resulted in the pirates’ defeat.
