Technical and Historical Notes

During the Bloody Valentine War, ZAFT created the UTA/TE-6 GOOhN Underground Mobility Test Type as a variant to the amphibious UMF-4A GOOhN. That variant served a unique tactical purpose: digging through the ground to attack underground facilities. But the design wasn't without problems, and the unit was prone to being diverted by the geological characteristics of the ground it was drilling through. That problem was partially addressed after the war with the limited production UTA/TE-6P Geo-GOOhN. Aside from that design change, the Geo-GOOhN was identical to its predecessor. During the Second Bloody Valentine War, the Geo-GOOhN was deployed in Operation Fury, an attack on the Orb Union during ZAFT's search for Logos mastermind Lord Djibril.
